03:13 pm - Midterms

Dear Lord, I must be the only one who actually enjoyed taking midterms. For my english timed writing, I picked apart every tiny minscule detail of Act I, Scene I of Romeo and Juliet. Sampson and Gregory. Benvolio and Tybalt. The Prince, Montague, Capulet, and their respective ladies, bring me my sword ho! XDD

I'm not sure I did very well, but I think that I wrote relatively well. They asked me to describe the significance of a violent scene in literature, I described the first brawl in Romeo and Juliet. Anyway- aw phooey, I didn't write about the mob! "Down with the Montagues! Down with the Capulets!" Gosh darn, I should've explained how the citizens knew how extremely stupid the feud was and how they didn't care for one side or the other which means that there really is no sides to the conflict because no one knows what it is and no one is either right or wrong in it...

Oh crumbs.

Ah well, at least I shimmied that sentence about the prince being just and that meaning the Capulets and Montagues are on equal political and social standing...

Really need to stop procrastinating on Hamlet research essay. Best efforts are due on the fifth, but Shakespeare's Women is possibly the hardest book in the entire universe to find, well besides Leroux's The Red Room. But that book is French and only Budha knows how many copies were translated or even printed... Rawr, why did I not keep learning French? Darn bad teachers who are old and unreasonable.

P.S. - Why am I such a nerd? I like clothes, but I never understood blogging about it. The same with my life, lolita, and many assortments of other things. Only dear Will could have me excited to go home and blog about something. Shakespeare<3
